I enjoy seeing everyones projects and repair jobs, you guys do great work. I thought I would post some stuff Ive done over the years, these were taken at my job, with my phone. Some need explanation, others dont, these are just a handful, hopefully they show up.Torch cart, I made one formyself before this one with pneumatic wheels, and also made a matching hand truck. The work one has the crappy wheels on it, but it works. I made up cables with turnbuckles to retain the tanks      http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-43-02_701.jpg My welder at work, when I got there it was just a power source, no wire feed no spool gun, set on 2x4s, I made the cart to hold everything     http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-42-19_636.jpg     http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-42-36_258.jpgStock rack / infeed table for my cut off saw at work, made from angle iron, the center has sheet metal lining the frame so stock doesnt fall down in between and you can slide a piece in without it hanging up, also a roller I made on the end for long heavy stock    http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-00-31_105.jpg    http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-00-31_105.jpg   http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-00-15_995.jpg Next are some step plates Ive made to use in the press or with pullers   http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-48-58_633.jpgThis is a small but handy screw press, I did not make the screw portion, it was there already, but it was all welded to small I beams and not adjustable. I made the uprights drilled to adjust and the table, it works very well. The threaded portion is a shaft from an old valve   http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-43-24_590.jpg  http://i1181.photobucket.com/albums/...-43-37_789.jpg

Reply:little Jeep, cool, how did you do that? I didnt know if they would show up or if you would have to click, i know the clicking can be a PITA...... by the way, what kinda Jeep ya got? I got a Rubicon 2 door 6speed, all stock for now, love it!!
Reply:Hey, and atlas shaper!
Reply:That one is a South Bend, I have an Atlas of my own, no vice on mine. The machines are very similar,  not much difference at all
Reply:Im digging the infeed table that doubles as a storage rack. Unfortunately where my saw has to set I block one of the bay doors whenever I have to cut a full stick.
Reply:I am liking the saw table, that is a definite on my future projects list. I really like how you incorporated a material rack.72 Chevy Cummins Project94 3500HD Welding Rig build Sold NOV 2011
Reply:thanks guys, the table works very well, and holds a lot of material. You can take a glance and see what you have easily. My saw isnt bolted down to the floor at work, it should be, then you could set the table square to the saw and build a fence on the table with a movable stop for cutting longer pieces to length. The sheet metal on the inside of the center section is great, pieces slide in and out with out gettting hung up like regular racks Ive used. Thanks agian for the comments, and if anyone has suggestions to help me, or if you see things I overlooked, please let me know. Thanks, have a great fathers day all you dads
Reply:Also just noticed that you put the heavier stuff on top so you dont have to lift it as far.
Reply:Larphead, that is exactly why I did that! Im old and have had 2 hernia operations from stupid stuffwhen I was younger lol.....
