Had a engine case on the bench this A.M. with instructions to repair the case crack where the engine mounts to the chassis...Found it was busted inside also..Pics are in order..#1..Case..#2..3..and 4 cracks in mount and inside..Last set pics next post..200 amps?3/32 Red End..1/16 5356 FillerEngine is back and running by 2 PM...I get all the fun jobs.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Doesn't look like that casting was too oily or greasy, Zap. Somebody must have done you a good turn and cleaned it really well before delivering it to you for repair. Either that or you skipped the dirty work photos...Looks like a good casting too. I didn't see any pores in the areas you ground down(with a carbide burr, I'm guessing?) Reply:Looks good to go. I see the black stuff that floated to top of puddle, castings are a pain. Did you have to hold puddle to float the crap out, or was it good enough to just run it? PeterEquipment:2 old paws2 eyes (that don't look so good)1 bad back
