This may be 'old news' to the Board as I haven't done a 'Search' but has anything been discussed about the new Lincoln Weld Simulator system they have? I was at Infineon Raceway yesterday (NHRA Fram Autolites Nationals) and watched the 'Tech' at the Lincoln Trailer use this system and I was impressed. I don't know the Model #, name,.... but again it was neat to watch. However, it will of course never replace real welding practice/experience with lessons learned from hot pieces of metal. Comments to practicallity(sp?) from Welding Instructors here? |
