Experienced welder looking for a mentor to go pipelining. (North Dakota/Montana)

Hello everyone!My name is Nick, I am a US Navy vet, I have been welding since 1995, professionally since 2007 as a structural welder and ship fitter. I ran my own fab shop for several years down in Corpus Christi Texas. In June I am moving back to Montana from Houston Texas, I will be based out of the Bozeman area and I am looking to break out in Eastern Montana or North Dakota. When I get back up there I will have a brand spanking new Vantage 300D and a travel trailer, I have not put a rig together yet although I do have a Chevy Dually I can do so with. For the time being I was planning on mounting everything on a skid in my truck so I can get to work.Although not current I have passed a 9" SCH 40 6G in the past, although I have never welded pipe commercially.I am looking for someone to show me the ropes and to help me get my foot in the door. I grew up in Montana, I am not afraid of cold weather, when I was running my shop I was working between 60 and 90 hours a week constantly.I am also looking to meet other guys in the business, I enjoy talking shop and I love to learn as well as making new friends.
