I scored this Wilton Bullet for the insane price of $150, I have been looking for this vise for yearsDisclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Nice score Tozzi. My grandfather had two of them in his shop. I hope it was worth the wait .
Reply:It was worth the wait, a buddy of mine found me one half it's size for the same money. This thing is a beast well over a hundred pounds and in great shape.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:Great score tozzi i have one from an old high school demolition it looked new 25 years ago great!!!wbolden
Reply:I have an identical one that was given to me. Boss said he didn't care what I did with it he wanted it gone because it was an "eyesore", so I told him I would take it home. He said doesn't matter as long as it was gone..
Reply:Its amazing how well built wilton vises are and that they last for ever. I have a big 9 in one that is my vise press anvil welding clamp and pain inflictor. Used to go through chicoms as fast as you could bring them home. Boss about shat when I paid 400 for it 10 years ago would really have a mess today.Millermatic 252millermatic 175miller 300 Thunderboltlincoln ranger 250smith torcheslots of bfh'sIf it dont fit get a bigger hammer
Reply:sweet deal Tozzi. looks like a little bigger version of the one mounted to my welding table. had it mounted to my service truck for years but i broke the lower mount so i bolted it to a receiver hitch style mount on my table. i got a massive old Columbia vice mounted to a pedestal that i haven't figured out where to bolt it down to the shop floor yet. been moving it around for about a year lol. some day i might just find the right place for it.225NT bobcatAEAD200LEScott 125mm175, mm252 w 30A, PT225mm211, TA 181iHyper Therm 380, cut master 529100X & XX, Digital Elite6 Victor setssmith little torch, meco midget kalamazoo band sawsteel max saw evoulution circular saw

Reply:I have a prentiss bulldog no.96 vise that im going to be restoring soon.
Reply:More than just size, the knowledge of many years of forging steel went into making a very durable vise, quite unlike the low quality "tools" available everywhere today. I paid a little bit more for a 4" version last Christmas. Attached ImagesCity of L.A. Structural; Manual & Semi-Automatic;"Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is refined.
