Frame wall thickness for a fire pit?

Frame wall thickness for a fire pit.I’m planning on building an octagon fire pit with 1.5” square tubing for a top and bottom frame about 5’ across. What thickness do you recommended?I live in Ohio. It will be outdoors year round.I plan to side the fire pit with expanded metal or sheet metal I have from an old project.
