Reply:Pm OAdoctor here. He'll probably be able to get you what you need.http://www.regulatortorchrepair.com/repairparts.php.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Nice!I've got several regulators that are in need of help, and when I inquired at my LWS, they said "we just ship them out and it's usually just as expensive as buying a new reg". Now I've got a new source for info.Thanks.Lincoln SA 200Esab Caddy 160Thermal Arc 201TSMiller Dialarc HFI don't like making plans for the day because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around the courtroom....

Reply:Some makers actually pay LWS salesmen commission on new regulator sales, though it isn't much. I use Victor equipment precisely because it's tough and rebuildable, but rebuilders can process a wide variety of equipment. Because of the design, a (properly) reconditioned Victor torch or regulator is literally as good as new. We beat the excrement out of our school units and just have them rebuilt instead of buying new. Rebuilders often stamp their work. I have a Victor regulator I got at auction that shows five rebuilds and is good for more. Rebuilding is easy, but CLEANING is tedious, so sending parts out to OAdoctor or other rebuilder is a bargain compared to doing it yourself.
