Christmas sales ?

Can yall tell me....Are there generaly special sales put on by the welder compannies as Christmasapproaches ?????(watching for Dynasty 200 dx )I keep seeing  "sale" advertised but I see the prices the same as they have beenfor the last 1   -    1+1/2 years.........(!)Figured yall that have purchased more stuff than me might know .....Thanks in advance !Tim
Reply:You have to get to know a salesman, and then hit him up for some kind of a deal when things are slow for him. Miller, etc. don't do sales per say, they usually put together a package, or offer some good financing for the equipment. it's up to the shop on the final price on the floor.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.
