Oxy/Fuel Welding in winter

I finally got all the gear I need to start practicing Oxy/Fuel Welding with size 40 tanks. I will be practicing heavily the next 4 days. I work outside with the tanks chain in a shed. I live in SE Michigan, Can i still work outside at least until December?
Reply:With tanks that small you can't be welding anything that big, so your acetylene pressures will be pretty low.  You won't have any issues with the oxygen, even below arctic temperatures, but the acetylene pressure in the tank will be reduced, but not enough to have any real effect other than making your tank not last as long.
Reply:Might want to consider some sort of windscreen. Makes things much more comfortable.  I have worked out of a shed for a few years.I'm not a welder, but I do sit next to one at the bar.

Reply:You could build a cheapo plywood box for the tanks, wrap them in an insulation blanket and have a light bulb on the inside of the box to keep it warm.200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
