Planter stand from salvaged farm parts

I went hunting through my grandparents old junk piles and came up with this planter stand.  Made of old dump rake teeth for arms, sweep shovels for feet, and some unique sections of steel from old equipment for cross-members. The whole thing comes apart and in half so it can travel to California in the winter in the back of my grandma's Avalanche.  I used appliance epoxy spray paint for the finish.  I got a lot of compliments on it.  It took some measuring and such to get it all even as the rake teeth curved shape is difficult to deal with.  Fun project all in all. Reply:Everything looks pretty good there the way you built it. Those pieces were originally made to something to help plants grow, they are still doing that in their retirement from their original purpose.

Reply:Pretty slick. Painted is plenty nice but it likely would have looked equally good old and rusty. Do the springs droop much when loaded with a heavy plant?
