Hey, I just got a tank for my MIG welder but the regulator and the tank both have female connectors on them. Should I get an adapter or whats the best method to get these two hooked up? Here are some pics: Attached Images
Reply:I will have to search then net but that is a common problem. There are two types and looks like you ran into both at the same time. There is a piece that is sold from welding stores to allow the two to connect ( a double male fitting) Up here in Cda, Air Liquide and Linde BOC have different attachments to each-other.
Reply:Something very similar to this, if not identical LINK HERE
Reply:Your flowgauge has a CGA 320 for CO2 fitting and the cylinder is CGA580 for inert gas (argon and argon mixes) You need a Western #810 adaptor. See link below.By the way, the regulator is made in Italy. I have not been able to find parts anywhere. So if it ever stops working you will have to replace it.http://www.westernenterprises.com/en...580 to CGA-320OAdoctorwww.regulatortorchrepair.com
