ok can someone please tell me the name for the thin bar/wire that is used in stuff like lampshades and other decorations? for anyone who doesn't know what i mean it is similar to a bicycle spoke but in a decent length, something that can be bent easily, i want to try some fun little art things but i haven't seen it anywhere and i wouldn't even know what to be asking for so if it has a name that would be great, thanks

Reply:Lamp shades and such are usually made of brass rod which you could get at the hardware store or use brazing rod, as mentioned, from your LWS. Reply:You can get suspended ceiling hanger wire in 10' straight sticks, its easy to bend and about the diameter your looking for.
