Good morning folks.. Quick few questions for any fellow Canadians that are in the Durham region, do you have a list of all the local gas companies that sell and refil argon/co2 cylinders. Also wondering if we can buy disposable cylinders? I'm in the process if saving for an 80cubic but it'll take a few more weeks before I can afford it, at the moment I only have a small amount of welding to do so I was hoping I could buy a small disposable bottle, or maybe a small refillable one if there cheap enough. I'm planning to check out TSC but figured why not try my luck here first. Thank youLincoln Electric MIG Pak 140 Wire Feed WelderSupport CASAA http://www.casaa.org/Donate_LKWE.html
Reply:Hobart makes a portable CO2 kit. I've seen them in most big hardware stores. Hobart 770626 20-Ounce Portable Co2 Cylinder Kit with Fixed-Flow Regulator Just google Hobart 770626A little more spatter with CO2 (especially noticed at low amps) but still works fine.About 40 min of run time according to Hobart.Dave J.Dave J.Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. ~George Bernard Shaw~ Syncro 350Invertec v250-sThermal Arc 161 and 300MM210DialarcTried being normal once, didn't take....I think it was a Tuesday.

Reply:Though I'm not from GTA, i get my stuff from air liquide. I'm in kingston, on. I rent the tank. Its pretty reasonable and i dont have to worry about valves and inspections
