Well I know I'm still kinda new on this forum, but I thought I'd share some new projects with you guys  This is an Intake manifold that needed the end chopped up and swapped sides at the engine was converted from mid engine to rear wheel drive an the intake would of hit the firewall. Reply:Building pannier racks, rear cargo rack, and a bicycle rack on the back of a motorcycle! Attached Images
Reply:You should have mounted the bicycle tipped back some then it could double as a wheelie bar!
Reply:A couple more things. The blue pendant I made that for a lady friend actually. One of the most challenging things I've had to do as far as designing it that is. I'm not one to be artistic. I actually made her 3 in the end 2 in blue and one in gold. I had extra laser cut just Incase I messed them up trying to tig weld them together, but luckily I didn't  Attached Images

Reply:Here's a picture of that pendant actually prior to any welding, just laid out. Attached Images
Reply:Can someone ride on the bicycle since the back seat isnt useable?Nate SandersThe brokest and slowest fabricator in the U.S. of A!
Reply:do you just ride a wheelie everywhere when you want to use the bike?Tiger Sales:  AHP Distributor    www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P,  Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.  For Sale:  Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun.  Lincoln Wirematic 250

Reply:What are the two large half round looking objects? If I had to guess it looks like fenders for something, possibly a hotrod of some sort, not really sure though.
Reply:Very nice, you just don't see that very often. Is it somehow street legal??? Can't believe the cops will let it go by. Stop it just see it. Improper whatever
Reply:I like the welding on the header and other stuff! What kind of tig do you have?Miller Diversion 165Rage 2 Chop saw
Reply:There are companies out there that sell similar products and apparently its a bit of bigger thing in europe. The bike it fully fastened properly and so is the rack. All hardware has locking washers or nylock nuts to prevent vibration fall out. As for the chrome looking parts, those are fender yes. They are going to be attached to the car pictured below. Its actually almost done now. I had to do quite a bit of aluminium fabrication on that vehicle. Which header you refering too? Unless you meant the intake manifold in the first post? My tig welder is just a Syncrowave 200. I kinda kick myself for not getting something a bit better like a dynasty or the likes especially with how much heavier aluminium welding I've been doing. I do like taking on odd projects as it keeps my mind thinking a bit more sometimes before I start loosing some of my memory  Attached Images

Reply:Originally Posted by BistineauIs this car going to be street legal eventually, or is it a one off custom piece for car show circuit or track only? Looks real interesting what you have going on with it so far. What kind of power plant is in it? Is this what the intake manifold goes on at the top of the post, or is that for something else?
Reply:dj55b,  All very cool projects.I'm diggin the bike rack. BUT. That car is crazy. Looks awesome. Do you have a build thread or any other info in regards to he car? Thanks

Reply:Those are only 2 of his garages, he has 3 more. I spend most of my time in those 2 though as thats where his race cars are as you can tell  On top of that he has a whole whack of go karts and he has a track behind his house!!! I wish I was in his shoes The 6 go karts pictured are actually in my shop. In front of those is a 1979 626 for another customer and hidden behind that is my rx7 which I'll get to rebuilding shortly after all these projects are out of the shop.In the last picture that infront of those go karts you'll notice a quad rear end, I have to convert that from a solid rear end to individual suspension also for this same customer. I may as well just open up my shop next to his house lol Attached ImagesLast edited by dj55b; 10-06-2011 at 09:48 PM.
Reply:Sweet stuff dude.. Looking good :]
Reply:Does he know you have 6 of his go-karts or does he have so many you figure he'll never miss only 6? IF HE KNOWS you have them, what's the plan of action on them? Must be some modification he wants on them too. Is he going to let you track test them after working on them?  Do you need any help doing all these projects? If you do this kind of stuff on a regular basis there may be a long line of folks on this forum willing to lend a hand, for a price, some maybe for little to nothing just to get to see some of this stuff.
