picked up a power supply for my miller suitcase extreme, it works like a charm. still trying to get the hang of the adjustments, & fluxcore wire 1/4" material 72 volts, 300 i.p.m. 75/ 25 gas mix, .045 fluxcore Attached Images
Reply:Looks really nice, clean machine. Looks like several of us have been picking up Powcons lately, I just got a 400SM and some wire feeders. Do you know what the difference is between the SM and the SMT models? The panel looks different, but I can't read all the controls. Nice score!
Reply:I have seen in other posts on here & in the manual i downloaded from arcproducts sm stands for STICK & m is for Mig, mine will do both plus the t is for TIG. I am still trying to figure out what all the controls do, this machine is real nice & looks pretty rugged, I ws looking for a used miller xmt 304 & stumbled across this by accident. Bob

Reply:bought the suitcase off a good friend for 200.00, he had bought out a shop that had several units. he kept1 sold me one & sold the others. picked up the powcon for 400.00 from craigslist |
