Latest quickie log burner

Hi, All, Just a couple of pic's of my latest efforts, Made it for my niece as a christmas present.Fired it up to cure the high temp paint and it burned very well,You can't see on the pic's but with this one I fitted a secondary air feed pipe coming in at the rear,thro the fire and injecting hot air just before the flue baffle plate.This one is fitted with wheels and a pull-out handle for easy manoeuvrability. Reply:Nice design for the door vent. Is the body of the burner a recycled tank? Lots of cool functional parts!

Reply:I've enjoyed your log burners that have been posted.My question would be about the amount of draw available through the door. It seems like the fire would get screaming hot with no way to control it or damp in down. The secondary air feed would even make it hotter.It would seem that the thin body would glow red. But since these are used outdoors maybe that is what is desired.
Reply:Hello GWD,                 I have not as yet had a fire that wanted to "run away" I had thought about it and was going to fit an adjustable baffle in the flue,But up to now it has not been necessary with any of the burners I have built.
