Gentlemen& the "elder welders"I am in need of a new tig torch(wp20 size),now here is the deal ,it needs to be of rubber hose&fabric covered,NOTthe cheap vynl type hoses,Ihave a uniion carbide torch(size 20)works great,but when it's coldthe ose hoses ara areal PITA,,I want the hose to be flexible,not stiffwhen they are cold ,I know I,m being too fussy,but that's what I want,can youall tell me where to get one?&who makes them?thanks ,rick beaver ,raytown,miossouri
Reply:get the wp20 with the 25ft flexable hose.  thats all i use on my dynasty 350.  i keep 2 extras in stock, but never need them.  i do lots of production aluminum work at 250 to 300 amps for 10 to 12 hours a day on a daily basis.
Reply:CK worldwide, weld tec, and weld craft all make very good 20 style torches. All three brands have flexible rubber hoses, and all three brands hold up very well.  I like the CK 200; 250 amps 100% duty cycle in both ac and dc and has held up to all the abuse I can give it.  As far as where to get one, your lws should have at least one of the brands on hand, or you can always get one from online suppliers.
