I'm still in the planning stage, and before I waste a bunch of time & money I thought I would tap the 'Brain Trust' here.....I want to build a SKID to carry my Generac, MIG & cutting torch. I figured I could carry it on the fork blades of my tractor or place it in my pickup or the little red 30x41inch trailer I pull around behind the mower or golf cart. I was go'na use square tubing and small bottles (125 & #3). Now I'm thinking it should also have some small wheels to push it around the shop.Hose hangers, boxes, additional tool holders, whatever ya think might be useful, give me your thoughts. Thanks for any & all input.... Reply:You might want to check out one of those 275 gallon oil totes. They have a steel pallet under 'em. All you'd need to do is whack the tube cage off of it. Just pick a good one that hasn't been mauled yet.Contrary to popular opinion, I do NOT have a pet turkey that craps molten steel. It's a goose.
Reply:Look up FarmerSamm posts.I think he has built what you want to do.

Reply:Thanks and Merry Christmas to you all.My neighbor has one of these totes he uses to water his sheep and I'll go put a tape measure on it. I think it 48 inches long, which isn't an issue, but it's at least 36 inches wide which means it will not fit in the little red wagon. Maybe I can could cut one down to the 30 inches width I need. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm go'na see what I can do.
