Reply:That's real nice work. Looks like you put in lots of work on those jigs too! How thick is the AL in the jigs?
Reply:mostly 1/4 " Thanks Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:Don't see a lot of guys build their own collectors too, nice job. Do you weld the inside?
Reply:Yeah you have to or they leak......... Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:Pretty neat. Most guys I've talked with that build headers refuse to build their own collectors, after attempting their first set. It's hard enought building a good 2-1 or 3-1, let alone a 4-1 collector
Reply:It's all in the jigs once you get that worked out their cake Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:i've heard that when ford pressured shelby to convert the 289 to a 428(?) he reluctanlty did so but always referred to it as" the turd"beautiful work...
Reply:Some very nice work, interesting collector design.Don't see much FE stuff outside of the FE forum. My headers were much simpler than yours and your welding is way better
Reply:I had a device that swedged the tube to fit the rectangle flange hole....pretty cool Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock |
