Newbie here. According to Victor's cutting tip charts, the highest oxy pressure setting would be 70psi. Why do the Victor regulators come with 200psi gauges? I'ld prefer something closer to a 50psi gauge. I can hardly see my gauge move at my welding tip settings.
Reply:I've never been able to figure that one out either.I just change out the low pressure side gauges on my regulators with ones that either go to 60 or 100psi.Just make sure to get your gauge at your LWS, and use one that is "oxygen clean".
Reply:but to adjust a welding tip the gauges  dont really come into play, so its ok.. until you get the feel of your equipment use the gauges to get in the ballpark, and final adjust based on the flame..
