Relocating welders... is there a directory?

I'm moving to Virginia next month for work and looking for places to stay. After being frustrated trying to find an actual apartment for lease, I've started looking at extended stay hotels and other pre-furnished places like "corporate housing" or whatever they want to call it.It's proving just as irritating, if not more.I'm wondering if there is a directory of sorts, maybe compiled by welders or other tradesmen, of places that offer this sort of housing. Or even if any of you guys have stayed at a particular place that may be a chain or have other locations, etc.
