I am doing a 48" diameter firepit ring with 12" sides. How do you guys get the ring perfectly round? It's just me and I don't have a roller to use on the metal. Any ideas and what gauge steel would you use? I was thinking 16 gauge. Any help would be appreciated.

Reply:its a firepit not a watch..it dont need "perfectly round"" just 16 ga hand bend it..put it in a brake at 1" intervals..scribe a 4 foot circle on the floor with a piece of string and soapstone and match the ring tothe drawing..
