Reply:Pulser shoud be along soon on this, RE: the article;The result from more of the liquid metal flowing back to the center of the puddle is inward and downward heat convection in the molten pool creating a deeply welded metal portion in the base material. (For those who absolutely must know, this is technically called Bénard-Marangoni convection.)

It is not cause for respect, it just means they spent enough money on legal advice.Expensive proprietary torch, torch power cable, and consumables tell me it's plot to ensure vendor lock.Tungstens are cheap enough, so the argument for the expensive rig to save money on tungsten is specious.Last edited by farmall; 04-13-2011 at 08:37 PM.
