Hi, finally introducing myself. I've been lurking for a couple of years and found alot of great advice and knowledge here. I am a wildland firefighter for the state of Florida. After highschool where i learned to weld i worked for a John Deer dealer where i got to meet two welders that taught me about equipment repair. After leaving leaving the dealer to move on to other things I began welding out of my shed. About eight years later I have my own small shop with a millermatic 350p with an alumi pro push-pull and reach suitcase feeder, Dynasty 200DX, 625 extreme plasma , box and pan brake. I also have a trailblazer 302 and smith cutting outfit set up in an enclosed trailer that i use for portable work. In my shop i build dogboxes and boat repair and have built tanks for fire departments. My portable work usually is in equipment repair for the many loggers in my area. I enjoy this site and the many forms of advice that goes along with here. This always keeps me learning new tricks and techniques to make things better for those people i get to work for on my days of from my regular job. Thanks guys! |
