Got scared when I saw the tv stand prices and my wall isn't flat so I came up with this. Can be positioned anywhere within 72 inches of wall. The tv is like 40 lbs and it holds it like a champ. Cost 25 dollarsSent from my Xoom using Tapatalk Attached Images
Reply:nice work. what size bolts are holding that 40 lb 6' level on the wall? There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger
Reply:Nice, looks very professional. So how often do you stand out on the balcony and watch the TV?  Or do you just put porn on and swing it out so the nossy neighbor with the binoculars has something to see? Reply:Have you considered a tilt function? You could fab one based on a center pin to rotate with 2 drilled circular plates and a pin or 2 for position locking.Last edited by bearston; 02-15-2012 at 09:41 AM.
Reply:Do you have some close-up pics?  I would like to do the same thing for a computer on my CNC machine.  My first attempt was a failure, but yours looks like it would work for me.  I would like to see some close ups of your joints if you wouldn't mind. The Lord has declared, "This is my work and my glory--to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man"  Moses 1:39Link: My name is John, and I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.-- ColdCreekWorks.com --

Reply:Wow, that's quite the reach. Nice for watching tv on the deck... or maybe the neighbors across the street. Did you use any kind of bushings?
