I just bought a new Precision TIG 225 and then fell into a great deal on a Powermax 45. Space being at a premium in my shop, I decided to combine my welding stuff on 2 new carts. I modified the L-TEC 225 cart by raising it up 8" and putting in a drawer below and a shelf above for my Handler 120 to sit on.I liked the results and decided to do the something similar for the TIG and Plasma. I put plastic bins at the front of the drawers for consumables and there is still room for my spool gun and most of my other welding stuff. An added benefit of raising the L-Tec is that I don't have to stoop when I push it around now.
Reply:Nice looking cart, man!! You matched the color and everything... I like your little hobart (I might be just a l i t t l e biased towards grey machines), and my friend has one identical to it.[Account Abandoned 8/8/16 Please Do Not Attempt Contact Or Expect A Reply]. Reply:I would strap the plasma down, looks like it's perched precariously and could pop off with a bit of a jostle.Otherwise it looks good!Edit: fail on my part for bumping an old thread! Haha!Last edited by shaeff; 02-25-2012 at 10:15 PM. |
