any 7018 using (-) in dc?

does all 7018s use + dc for stick weld? if yes why, can i use it in (-)

Reply:I don't I tried running it on DCEN at school once and it ran like total crap. Atleast thats what I thought. Anytime you run something on EN, the rod lasts longer than it would on EP and, as CEP stated, gets a little less penetration. It was still better than on AC though.
