Has anyone ever welded any type of lead ?I have just started to learn how to weld lead anodes. These are use for industral chroming of harvesting implemts parts as in wheat combines, carrot, potato, corn machines. The chrome that is applied makes the part wear longer with out wearing out. Just one more thing it takes about an hour to weld one anode. The pics are before and after some what. Attached ImagesYou Can't Fix STUPID!!!
Reply:Very cool, personally I've never heard of anyone welding lead. I have stick welded brass before and you could only do that flat to make it look half-a55 good. I would assume that lead would be the same way, but you know what they say about assuming. What process did you use, or better what process's can you use on lead???Shake and Bake
