Pipe welding Mig question

hello everyone,just a quick question, mig welding a double v pipe joint, i can never seem to accomplish a nice root run, unless i do the root run vertical down any tricks or tips for these type of joint i will greatly appreciate
Reply:The only way I have done it to pass xray was with a positioner..
Reply:im not sure to what your problem is but if it is bead roll then make sure you are moving fast acrost the center of your weld then a slight pause at the toe.
