Lead and Hood Storage Idea

OK, as everyone that owns one knows, a TIG set up has more leads to trip over and roll up.  I got tired of having a rats nest to untangle every time I went to weld something so I built this little swinging boom to hang my leads and hoods on.Hood and glove storage.  The hangers all fabbed from 6" long sections of 3 1/2" tubing, cut in half length wise, and the end caps were cut from 18gauge sheet scraps.  I cut holes through both sides of the tube half, then passed the 3/4" EMT through each hangar and tacked it into position.  The gloves are stored in HF spring clamps drilled and bolted to the EMT.Lead rack on the other side.  Ground clamp is clipped onto the EMT.Torch hanger fabbed out of scrap.  I punched a hole using a knock out punch then sawed the slot open and finished.Pivot mount again fabbed out of scrap and fitted to existing bolts in welder chassis.  There is a pin welded to the lower foot that the EMT pivots around and prevents the EMT from slipping off.Foot pedal leads.  The hangers all fabbed from 6" long sections of 3 1/2" tubing and the end caps were cut from 18gauge sheet scraps.  The boom stores by swinging back along side the welder when not in use.Please excuse the messy shop RogerOld, Tired, and GRUMPYSalesman will call, Batteries not included, Assembly is required, and FREE ADVICE IS WORTH EXACTLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR IT!Dial Arc 250HFThunderbolt 225 AC/DCAssorted A/O torches
Reply:Rog, neatO, Nice way to clear the floor of the leads and all.  Keeps the hoods from damage.  I like it.  I'm wondering though how long that EMT bend will hold up, doesn't take much to bend it, maybe a brace at the bend would prevent this from happening.  Good thinking on your part for the project!!  Bob
