Reply:ironheart_ram,with your fine grasp of the abstract forms that you collate from existing objects and the wonderful results....I wonder why you haven't moved to TIG welds to make tiny, almost invisible tack welds instead of the focus grabbing 'blob' type welds that join your pieces? The welds are out of context.  Each piece of work is an extraordinary form expressing the feel of the original as echoed by the 'found objects'. Why not use TIG tack welds? The scale of the welds done with TIG would allow each original object to be part of the whole without those unsightly 'globs'.If any of your fine work(s) was done with a fine TIG hand; a dot the size of a ballpoint pen tip (or two) would fuse the elements, leaving your selection of form without the compromising melted interfaces to distract from the composition.I'm not faulting concept or composition- I admire them both, I'm only asking if your construction could be brought up to match the other two elements of your work?Cheers,Kevin Morin
