"The Grim Reaper"

As promised (to satanzhand) My Grim Reaper sculpture,conceived in 2004 by Rafael Torres (the concept,the hood & scythe).My contribution was everything else (inc.skull,robe,hands,base & lettering). Skeleton & scythe r stainless steel,robe is hot roll sheet. It is titled, "Angel of Death(Angel de la Muerta)." Two Slayer fans with welding equipment,dangerous combination. Attached Images

Reply:Probably 14"+ tall. The piece is owned by Rafael. We used 2 work 2gether in side by side departments. He watched me do tig sculpture 4 a few years,then tried his own hand with this sculpture. He got stuck after welding the "hood", and asked me 2 finish it. He also made the scythe blade.

Reply:Really really nice!(Retired) Professional firefighter, amateur everything else I try to do...Oh yeah:  Go Big Red!   (You know: one of the 12 members of the Big 10 cuz we left the 10 members of the Big 12...)

Reply:Thanx 2 all 4 the compliments. The sculpture is welded 2 a crs block and lettered with .035" stainless filler rod using the tig process.
