Here is a place to get your busted import machine repaired.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...52#descriptionI bought a plasma cutter from him three years ago and it has worked flawlessly. I have also discussed machine operation with him over the phone and he has always been willing to help out. I mistakenly bought an AC/DC 3-in-1 import machine from from a now defunct dealer. Usual bad luck story, two DOAs, had to replace most of the accessories due to poor quality, but finally got it working okay. I will use this guy for my lifeline if/when it dies on me.Coulda had a Miller and wish I had but now I am stuck with this one. I am satisfied with it at the moment and it actually has some good points like arc force as well as the usual AC wave form and gas controls.I have been accused of being a shill for this guy, Parker Metalworking, but I assure you I am not. I just wanted to pass on a good experience.Steve in Central TX

Reply:I will never knock imports (mainly because where I live every welder is imported these days). But even for most people, the best welders in the world would be imports I imagine. Unless one lives in Germany or Finland I suppose.

Reply:If someone replaced a few of the substandard parts, and didn't ship them UPS,they should last quite a while.UPS is in my "Bad" list, for shipping larger electronics.
Reply:If you look at his feedback none of it is from someone buying his repair service. It is all mostly plasma cutter consumables.
Reply:Is it just me or does it look like he is selling a warranty?Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea. |
