I'm looking to find some square copper tube (1/4 inch) to solder/braze together a small square frame. I then plan to braze a spiral of copper tubing to this frame to make a new radiator for my tig cooler.I'd liket to make the frame this way as i can drill and bolt it to the inside case as well as it looking better than just zip-tying it to the vent grill.Any idea where i can get 3 feet of square copper tube? Thickness doesn't matter as long as it isnt solid or thin as paper.Thanks!- matt

Reply:It looks like you found your source, but how about bending some angle from flat sheet. Then you can either just use the angle to build your frame, or solder it together to make square tube. I suppose you could even bend your own square tube, around a square piece of wood, and solder the last edge together to form your square tube.KevKevin / Machine_Punk from The Aerodrome Studio - Lincoln PowerMIG 210 MP - Meco N Midget w/custom welding station - Vintage Victor 100Current Projects: The Aerodrome Studio |
