We are going to be pipelining up a hill in PA that has a 70% grade so we made this sled out of an existing one we widened it and stretched it .Put the swings on it so welders will ride level as we are going up Attached Images
Reply:That's really neat. It would be cool to see it in action. I tried searching YouTube for a video of something similar in use but only found one of a regular sled getting stuck behind a CAT 583 T sideboom.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBudr1yIcLQ[/ame]

Reply:What section of Pa are you working in? I was up above Williamsport a few weekends ago and was looking at the cuts going up some of the almost vertical slopes. I was thinking new gas lines, and how much a PITA it must have been to do the work on a slope that steep..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
