What would I have in material for a steel work bench 10' long x 24" deep x 34" tall with the top out of 3/8"? Thinking about a table possibly 4'x6'x34" tall on casters also. Just trying to make plans for my new shop that is almost built.
Reply:I spent around $300 for material on a 3' X 5' bench, with 3" square legs and 2" square supports and a 1/4" top. It's quite sturdy, and the top is heavily reinforced with supports. I'd guess for something similar in your size would be roughly 2-3 times the price, perhaps?
