Thermal arc 300 Gms . I have a opportunity to pick this up for $300.00. Has a quite a bit of whistles and bells. It does not have the Mig assembly built in. Is this a good price for this or are they problematic. I guess it can be wire single or three phase. Tempting but cannot find to much on it. That is never good.HH135 MigEverlast PowerUltra 205Century heavy duty 250dc/295ac stickA/O system, victor 450 series gauges w/cutting torch and j100 torch.

Did you try google? the owners manual was the first hit for me.http://europe.thermadyne.com/IM-Uplo...s%20Manual.pdfIts a multi process inverter that does TIG MIG and SMAW. the model number gives the processes GTAW, MIG, SMAWLooks like a 3 phase only machine thoughLast edited by soutthpaw; 09-23-2011 at 09:49 AM.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma. Reply:I found the book as well. Says nothing about 1 phase. I found a post where someone said it could be wire 1 phase. Is 3 bills in the ballpark?HH135 MigEverlast PowerUltra 205Century heavy duty 250dc/295ac stickA/O system, victor 450 series gauges w/cutting torch and j100 torch.
Reply:$300 is a steal, if it works. I have a 300 GTSW, 14 yrs. old and still going strong. If you get it, open it up and give it a good cleaning with low-pressure air and a vacuum cleaner. A machine of that vintage is probably full of dust.It runs fine on single-phase but draws a lot more current than on 3-phase.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps |
