Reply:Thanks guys.They are used to hold the cases while product is being hand packed. I'm actually not really sure how the cases are put on there...whether they are so 1 person can pack 2 cases or 2 people can pack at the same time.The design isn't mine. I went to look at a sample at the plant and get some sketches. The original was a sort of bolted together affair. These are all welded construction. There are 2 welded joints at the "riser" of the table. I would have had a second bend put on one of the plates but I wasn't sure of the exact angle so I fitted them on the frames. Press brake work gets farmed out so I couldn't trial and error the bends. Yeah Stick, I primed and painted em. Definitely the worst part of the job.
