Reply:Nice job, good work with a bead roller.
Reply:Nice job, Bob. Good work, Dirk. I like cheap, as you show, being cheap makes for better quality goods than are available commercially, exercises the creativity, too. Wish I had a bead roller and worked it as well as you do. Good deal on the boxes, btw. When a welder tells you to "stick it", what do they really mean?"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

Reply:Looks like its worth at least $86 or more. I could use it for consumable storage and stuf.

Reply:I had the same problem/idea last fall. I built a frame with drawer sliders to hold the four Durham boxes. Imagine my surprise when I tried to load it, only to find that one of my four boxes is a fat eighth shorter than the rest. Of course, that was the one I measured... so nothing fits. It's still sitting on shelf, empty, waiting for me to get around to building some boxes that will fit it.__David Hillman

Reply:They are even cheaper on eBay. I forget what I paid for those 14" slides but it wasn't much. Everything else was scrap. Ended up being very cheap... too bad I didn't measure more before I starting welding. I like yours better, since it works.__David Hillman
Reply:Look's great, I'd take that over the store bought version. If you don't want to stand behind our Troops, feel free to stand in front of them.
Reply:Dave, your welding skills are obviously good, it's your measuring skills needs that need that second look , all kidding aside so why not stretch out your frames by that fat 1/8...cut out 2" and weld back in 2 1/8? Good way to get stuff off a shelf and in use. When a welder tells you to "stick it", what do they really mean?"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

Reply:Very nice design! Is it 20g sheet metal? With these recessed sections, you gain quite some stability.
