Question about spool gun for a Miller XMT 304.

I have a Miller XMT 304, I was wondering if they make a good universal spool gun? Do I need a control box for it? I have very little aluminum metal to weld.Can you hook the gas directly to the spool gun? Thanks in advance for any help.

Reply:Could I just buy a cheap gun without the control box? I'm have very little to weld and don't want to spend a fortune doing it.
