So for the past year the HF Start on my Dynasty DX has been acting up... yesterday i was able to pick up a HF251D-1 for next to nothing and started playing with it.Its pretty awesome... the first order of business was connecting it to the trusty old HF 80A Inverter special. Works great and ads a gas solenoid to the equation - the footpedal becomes an on/off switch basically. I always hated scratch starting with the inverter when i was learning. I am going to make short adapters so I can hook up the 80 amp to this unit in the event i dont feel like running my 220v extension cord from my stove out to the garage for smaller jobs and projects. But it will live hooked up to the dynasty. Will be doing some welding with it all throughout the week and Ill throw up some pictures...Miller Dynasty 300 DXMiller CST280Miller Maxstar 150 STH
