Picked up my TB302 from air gas yesterday and she working right this time...took my cables and a scrap plate and did weld test before we put it on the truck .. worked fine so I brought her home after almost 3 monthsOut of practice so don't give crap about that beadSent it in with a almost full tank of fuel and they sent her back almost empty... Reply:Glad you got it back Al. Wow three months went fast. Or slow for you I'm sure. I know Lincoln is having some issues with the venting system in the fuel tank washing cylinder walls and wiping them out on there 305g models. Reply:Well she revs when I strike an arc now and idles back down like she should ..not just reving up to full scream at will and ignoring the strike and just being weird I can't blame the local airgas guys they did what they couldBut miller pointed their finger at koholer and they pointed back at miller ..its all their fault and the warranty expired 3 months ago so there..... was all I got from the local reps Guess it pays to go to those trade events you never know who you will meet and get to know ....so when this came up I emailed him about what was going on and now I am still waiting on the refund check from airgas from the first time they didn't fix it...60 to 90 days my *** .. Still waiting for that money duane But they got it right this time.... Reply:I had not heard about that mike .. that ain't goodI heard about the fuel vent problem with the millers but the fix was drilling another vent hole Originally they told me my problem was the ignition coil:what: ...excuse me but huh? Reply:My 305 had a diaphragm go in the fuel pump, and since it was on the head it dumped a bunch of fuel into the crank case.  Noticed it was running rough and checked the oil and it was gas smelling and way way past full. Bummer cause I just changed the oil. Oh well it got a good douchingNothing Ever Got Done By Quitting, Never Give Up.

Reply:Do you know what was done to fix it?I have a TB 302 that will change engine rpm up and down as you weld sometimes? It has never affected the weld as far as I know but this thread makes me wonder if i should get it looked at before warranty runs out. Starting to think better safe than sorry.

Hes making $50+/hr operating an xcavator. The weldors are making $100+/hr. He also said you get $100/day gas allowance but only if you have a valid drivers license. He wasnt getting it because to many DUI's or in Texas the say DWI's. Good luck Dozerd.
