Well, if the first word didn't scare you off, you're as stubborn as me!I have a Cutmaster 42 now, so I'm looking to sell the old Simadre.  But it's had an intermittent problem for awhile that I've never been able to track down.  I could probably sell it as is and get a little money off of it, but I couldn't sell it with an intermittent problem without telling the buyer - that just wouldn't be right.  So, the value would be down a lot more than it already is.Anyway, the problem...About every time I used it on my CNC table, somewhere along the way, it would not cut.  When it works, it works great.  When it doesn't work, it blows air and the little HF pilot is going, but the cutting arc never starts.  I first thought flaky relay, but so far, I haven't found relays anywhere, so I'm pretty sure I can rule that out.  I just hit ESC on the computer, rewind the program and go home.  Then I try again.  About 1/4 of the time, it'll go ahead and work then.  The rest of the time, it does the same thing.  When that happens, I've tried several things to make it work again and it always starts working again, but I never know why.  It doesn't seem like any one action is the fix.  The things that I normally try are changing the current, cycling power to the machine, verifying/moving the ground clamp connection, and taking the torch apart to check the condition of the consumables.  Again, it always seems to work again.  The random nature of the "fix" leads me to believe that the things I'm doing probably have no bearing on the problem.A couple of things I've not really noted.  I don't remember if there was any correlation to the amount of time it had been running or cutting, ambient temperature, or other environmental factors.  It has happened regardless of air pressure, and again, without changing air pressure, it often starts to work again. The boards in the machine are Arcsonic AT-01-A0, Arcsonic AC-A2-A0, and Arcsonic AB-03-A0.  I've not found much info on the boards online, but there are definitely similarities to others I've seen photos of.  None seem to match the appearance of the bottom board in this machine, though.Any ideas are appreciated!DaveP.S. - I'd like to add that, yes, I could have spent more money on the better machine from the start, but I didn't have that money laying around then.  If I'd waited for the money to be there for the better machine, I'd have been sitting on the couch wishing I could do something.  Having bought a cheap machine, though, I was able to make parts, which more than paid for the machine, and some of that money went toward the better machine.  So, I don't regret having bought this one.  I knew there was a risk, but it was worth it, and I don't feel hurt at all.
