Reply:I hate it.
Reply:Just kidding! Looks awesome, wish I had a plasma table.
Reply:Thanks man. It's a huge learning curve. Wish I had some paying customers. I really need to start making money with this thing.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.

Reply:Very nice ....but that's not my name or address
Reply:I thought that Joan was at 7137 Sellwid, you going to recut the address?  I cut by hand and get that shaky 'artistic' look, especially when my muscles spasm! Never nice like yours. Keep cutting and advertising, you'll be too busy soon enough, with that quality of work. Reply:I have a job for you.    how large can you cut?
Reply:I can cut up to 5ft by 10ft. I figure that's large enough. Anything larger can be welded together. As my truck can't haul anything larger, and I can't move anything larger. But I'll tackle a bigger job if needed. It will give me a reason to buy more tools, trucks, trailers or get really creative. Reply:NoBigDealFab:I'll say nice job. Learning a new tool is always a challenge.I have a neighbour with a welding shop and he has a plasma table that hardly ever gets used. I think some marketting on his part would help.I also live not far from these guys:http://www.ez-router.com/?wpid=g&gcl...FaZgTAoddypxxAThey gave me a tour once and watching them cut 1 inch steel plate was really something. Made in USA and located in a small town in East Texas. For those who think there isn't much manufacturing going on in the USA, well these guys are undergoing a huge expansion of their plant. They are more than doubling their size. I like to support the local economy and I'm glad to see the market place is supporting them and enabling them to expand. Now if I could just get them to do my address for me...........hmmmmm.Glenn.Sign on East Texas payphone: Calls to God 40 cents......it's a local call...
Reply:Hey NoBigDeal Fab,Did you have a guide or a template for those numbers and letters you just did ? coz I can see they are all very proportionate and almost precise, I'm a visual and a graphic artist, that is why I know if them letters and numbers were done correctly or not.Anyway, very nicely done bro, how I wish I have a plasma cutter too, LOL.
Reply:That cool. It was actually a guess. I started with the s, made it 6 inches tall and said the rest of the letters need to BR close to half that. And ended up settling on 2.5 inches, as it looked best. It was all just untouched fonts from inkscape. All I dud was increase the size. The computer did the rest. I have been debating going after a design degree. But I don't know if I wanna.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.
Reply:With a CNC plasma at your disposal, there is no reason that you couldn't make money with it, especially if you cater to the hobbiests or individuals looking for smaller batches of things! The lettering looks great! The coolest tool I ever learned to use (and use on the job!) was a pattern cutter...not great for large batches, but for making replacement parts off a paper pattern it worked wonders!Last edited by mb_welder; 06-29-2012 at 07:13 AM.
Reply:I like that kind of lettering to bad it isnt my address

Reply:You have a CNC plasma...and you are looking for work for smaller projects...Advertise on craigslist and in your local paper!  If you can find customers looking for smaller runs, it will get your name out there!  *edit* Well apparently drunk me after a busy work week commented before sober me!Last edited by mb_welder; 08-22-2012 at 06:36 AM.Craigslist sucks. I have had ads on there and the first guy said I wanted too much. And the second guy wanted something milled not plasma cut. That has been the only two requests I have received from about 10-12 ads. I'm working on other angles as well. Just need to finish up the current things I have laid out. Then I'll get started. Hopefully I'll be on it this weekend.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.
