Sorta' portable winch mount

Well I need a winch to go possibly pickup another welder.   The only winch I have spare is a Ramsey DC200 which is a tow truck grade 8K winch...  anyway made this setup all from material I had around the house.   Handles were cut from an old wheelchair lift.   The receiver is pass through.   Also just made the receiver hitch for my Jetta a couple days ago.  The mount for the jetta runs about 18 " into the frame and is bolted with 4 bolts either side.  All 2" x1/4" wall tube.  On the Jetta I ditched the 5mph bumper and replaced it with the hitch..No, I won't be towing with the winch between car and trailer.  Will split the setup, use winch to load then remove winch again before towing.  . Reply:Any way you do it there is a what if. However I personally believe in safety chains being attached to the vehicle somewhere solid.  I lost a car trailer a few years ago, going downhill on a busy street 5 blocks long and a children's fourth of July parade going across the street at the bottom of the hill. It passed me at the top of the hill. I had to chase it with my pickup for 3 blocks and pull in front of it to stop it. 3800 dollars damage to the one car it hit and I was very lucky. Mac
