Restaurant Sign Bracket

Thought I'd share this project with you guys. I do a few of these a month,(usually on a smaller scale) for a local sign company, nice change from rusty car/truck frames.This one is heavy,3"x 1/4" x 46" wall bracket,the rest of the pieces are 2" x 1/4", used the torch to curl the scrolls,didn't want to light the forge cause of the heat today. The curved piece was hand bent in my vise,(slowly....and yes a few try's!)  Well, It's close to the sketch. Brian Attached Images

Reply:I like the design. It looks deceptively frail in the photos... it looks like 1/8" but I re-read your post and it's 1/4". I imagine if after you get it tacked up and your if your not happy with the rigidity you could scrolled some matching round bar, say 1/2", and tack it to each side forming a kind of i-beam. The round bar would also add some depth to the shape making it more interesting.Will the sign be allowed to swing or will it have to withstand the wind?Post some pictures when it's mounted.
