Man Cave Bar Pipeliner style

Hey guys my next project is to build a sit up bar in my basement, any pics or ideas?? I would kind of like to do something in metal or pipe as I am a pipeline welder. All my decor will be old pipeline pics and equipment.

Reply:I have made lights out of old cylinder caps that protect you values on your welding bottles. i would build a boom that lowers the pipe in to the ground  sticking out of the wall. You could have flanges for door pulls. You could build a coffee table out of a wide pipe and put a glass top on it .Have like burnt up welding leads hanging on the wall. You could plasma cut your company name or logo and  hang it on the wall. You could try and get old welding cylinders and chain them up against the wall, The bar could be a look a like of a flat bed/ your welding rig . Reply:How about a big pipe laid horizontally with a flat top.  The pipe should be two pieces with a root and hot pass, raised off the floor. I'd say use have a large pipe as the underside for your bar with a glass/plexi top and have a bunch of other pipes and leads and maybe an old helmet and other welding acc. under the top. You could do a couch out of another large pipe. could even make it a rocker lol.There are no problems. There are only solutions.
