So my 18 month old Diversion constantly runs the fan now while it is switched on. It just started doing it randomly, I was not welding at the time but it was plugged in and powered on. Other than that, it still seems to weld just fine.Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? Is it something to worry about or just deal with it?
Reply:I'll have to check and see if my fan is on all the time or only when it's flowing current. Either way it has a 3 year warranty might as well have it checked out. What I do notice on mine is if you turn the dial too fast the blue light goes on for a split second. The light that shows you are out of gas.Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer
Reply:I never knew that about the gas light, guess I should have read the manual more carefully. If I crank my knob too fast the numbers jump around and sometimes go the opposite way I'm turning, but I assumed that was normal? I have some computer mice that have the same issue with the scroll wheel.I know it's still under warranty, but I'm not sure I have the receipt anymore (doh!) and the company I bought it from is being no help at all.
