Flux on pipe 6g etc

I've been seeing alot of local job postings that require passing a 6g with flux core. Does anyone have links to video of this. I can pass flux on 3g/4g but haven't dipped into pipe. With the root are most companies using 6010 then filling it up with wire?
Reply:I can see using 6010 root, TIG root, or a backing ring.  Then fill with FC.

Reply:Is that what most of the shipyards are doing Justin? I'll have to get some pipe and practice flux on pipe
Reply:A few shipyards here do it that way some may use tig root as well.. while i was in Wyoming we were doing mig root and flux fill/cap on pipe
