looking to buy a new welder advice needed

Hi everyone new to this forum so not sure this post is in the right spot but here it is.  The shop I work at is looking to buy a new welder for use with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum right now we have a miller regency 250 with a 22A wire feeder we use for steel and stainless steel, a millermatic 250 we use for steel and SS, a millermatic 251 we use for steel and SS, a millermatic 252 we use for steel, SS, and aluminum, and a millermatic 185 we only use for aluminum the 185 uses a miller spoolmate 3035 spoolgun and the 252 uses a miller XR Aluma Pro A push pull gun for aluminum and all our welders use 15' tweco guns for steel and SS.  What I want to know is on our new welder we kind of want a higher output rating so we can get into heavier aluminum work and fabricating custom aluminum truck bodies.  We have been trying to decide between just buying another 252 or getting a millermatic 350p and we have also looked at the Lincoln electric 350mp which looks like a much more versatile machine for the money but want to know if there is any way our XR Aluma Pro A push pull gun would work with the Lincoln machine.  Thanks for any help you can give me
Reply:Considering what you already have, I would recommend going with the 350P/350MP not only for the higher output but for pulse MIG as well.If you already have a Miller push-pull gun you will probably want the Miller, but make sure that your model of gun is compatible with the 350P before you buy. Also, it sounds like the Lincoln might "clash" with your other welders. OTOH, if you need the stick and TIG capabilities of the 350MP, call Lincoln and ask them if the Aluma-pro gun can be adapted to work with the 350MP.
